History
The firm was founded by Simon Olswang on 1 March 1981.
Initially known for its film financing and
entertainment practice the firm grew quickly into a full
service law firm addressing the needs of the rapidly developing
media, communications and technology industries as well
as the real estate sector. Since his retirement as Chairman
in June 2002 Simon has built a varied portfolio of business
and personal interests which include a number of non-executive
board appointments. He also serves as Chairman of Governors
of Langdon College of Further (Special) Education in Salford.
Simon is married with two married daughters and a grown up son.
