Our Corporate Group regularly advises in the complex field of public company takeovers in accordance with The City Code on Takeovers and Mergers. We act for offerors, targets, management teams, lenders, trustees of pension funds, and nomads and financial advisers in their personal capacities.
In addition, we have significant experience in conducting pre-announcement due diligence in the context of a public offer, in working closely with nominated accounting advisers and investment banks retained by the parties. We are also experienced in reacting quickly to prepare relevant offer announcements and letters and all supporting documentation in the pressure filled environment that exists prior to the announcement of a public offer.
