Our Brussels office
Olswang’s Brussels office opened in 1999 and currently boasts 13 lawyers, including three partners. As our location would suggest, we can offer a wealth of experience and insight into the ever-evolving area of EU law, but our competition and regulatory experience is also complemented by considerable expertise in Telecommunications, IP and Media.
Closely integrated with Olswang’s offices in London and Berlin, we are proud to share their client-focused approach; we appreciate that only through building and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients do we gain the in-depth knowledge of their business we need to best advise them. While we excel at transactional work - and we present in all relevant fora, non-transactional support is also a key part of our business offering.
Our major strengths include advising clients on EU and Belgian competition law and a full range of regulatory matters, in particular how they apply to electronic communications. In addition, we have a particular specialisation on Intellectual Property, media, entertainment and ICT - plus the related commercial law. This is a particular area of expertise for Olswang and we can draw on the experience of our London IP and TMT teams, who have an individual focus on fashion, sports and media.
